Whether you are trying to remove an unpleasant smell, or need to get some air circulation to make your space less stagnant, here are a few ways to freshen the air in your office or facility.

Take Out Your Trash

This will help avoid unpleasant smells from building up. If you have any food or beverages to throw out, consider throwing them out in a kitchen bin so your office space doesn’t smell bad.

Open a Window

If you have windows in your office, open them up for an hour or two to help circulate fresh air around your office. This can prevent stuffy air from just sitting in your space. If you don’t have a window, consider getting an air purifier for your workspace.

Use Baking Soda

Just like having a bad smell in your fridge, baking soda can absorb stains and smells in upholstered fabrics such as carpets and chairs. If your kitchen also contains a bad smell, consider pouring some baking soda down the sink drain. The main ingredient in baking soda, sodium bicarbonate, is great at absorbing smells.

Enjoy Mint Tea

If everyone’s having a meeting in your office and you notice the air isn’t pleasant, make some mint tea. Even if you don’t drink it, mint is great at masking odors. This can also serve as your afternoon pick-me-up. If you’re into coffee, you can also hide coffee grounds in a bowl to give your office a pleasant aroma.
